코로나 사태, 재외국민 국내 투표 시 '출입국사실증명서' 요구 

 

최근 코로나19 여파가 전 세계적으로 확산되고 있는 가운데 각 국에서 입국을 금지하거나 제한하는 나라들이 점점 늘고 있다. 한국도 예외는 아니다. 한국은 현재까지 49곳의 입국 금지와 65곳의 격리 및 검역 강화로 총 114개 국으로 한국인 뿐만아니라 한국을 거친 외국인들까지 포함되어 사실상 해외로의 입국이 어렵다.

재외국민투표 또는 국외부재자 투표를 신청하고 귀국한 사람들이 국내에서 투표하려면 반드시 별도의 신고를 해야 하는데 정해진 기간 내 국외부재자선거 등 철회서를 제출 하면 된다. 하지만 기간 내에 제출을 못한 사람들은 다음 달 1일부터 15일 선거 당일까지 관할 선거관리위원회를 직접 방문하거나 우편 등을 통해 재외선거인 등 귀국투표신고서를 제출 하면 된다. 다만 이 경우 '출입국사실증명서'와 신분증 (운전면허증/여권 등) 등의 별도 구비서류를 반드시 준비해야 한다.
