오늘(9일)부터 국민의 편의를 위해 공적마스크를 살 수 있는 '마스크 5부제'가 시행된다. 1인당 2매씩 본인이 태어난 년도의 끝자리 수에 따라 정해진 요일에 마스크를 살 수 있다. 또한 만 10세 미만 어린이와 만 80세 이상 노인들의 경우에는 대리 구매도 가능하다.

우선 구매를 하기 위해서 반드시 신분증(주민등록증/운전면허증/여권 등)이 필요하다. 또한 미성년자가 구매 시에는 학생증과 주민등록등본, 법정대리인의 신분증과 주민등록등본 등을 지참해야 하며 만 10세 이하 및 만 80세 이상 노인의 경우 대리 구매 시에도 대리인의 신분증과 주민등록등본을 제시해야 구매가 가능하다.

시행 첫 날이다 보니 대리 구매에 대한 혼선도 있었다. 부산사는 한 80대 남성은 "내 손자 마스크도 같이 구매하고 싶다"라고 했으나 약사는 구비서류를 들고 오셔야 구매가 가능하다라고 거절한 사례도 있다.

예를 들어 2011년생 자녀의 마스크를 부모가 대리 구매할 경우 월요일(출생년도 1, 6일)에 신분증과 자녀가 포함 된 주민등록등본을 약국에 보여주고 구매하면 된다. 장애인의 경우는 동거인이 아니어도 마스크5부제 요일에 해당되면 장애인등록증을 지참한 대리 구매자를 통해서 구매가 가능하다.

정부는 중복 구매를 방지하기 위해 현재 약국에 중복구매시스템을 구축해 놓은 상태라 2매 이상은 구매는 사실상 어렵다. 만약 주중에 구입을 못한 분들은 주말에 출생년도와 상관없이 구입할 수 있지만 물량이 적다 보니 어려움을 겪을 것으로 예상한다.

Starting today (9th March), 5-day rotation system for mask distribution will be implemented for the convenience of the public. People can buy a mask for two per person, depending on the number of end digits in your year of birth. Surrogate purchases are also available for children under 10 years old and seniors over 80 years old.

In order to make a purchase, you must have an ID card (resident registration card / driver's license / passport). In addition, minors must bring a student ID card, a resident registration card. The government has established a duplicate purchase system in pharmacies to prevent duplicate purchases, so it is impossible to purchase more than two masks per person. If you can't buy during the week, you can buy it on weekends regardless of the year of birth.
